Kindred’s Special: Love and Hate– Cool it!

Love and hate are emotion driven.  Disagree or agree?  Let me put it to you this way.  You can disagree.  Maybe you should. I have no PhD after my name; nor do I have the title Dr. in front of it.  I am just a guy born in America, having the joyful benefit of a nice family bond–parents who brought their children into the world and teaching them through lessons given in the Bible, although they were not religious fanatics.  Four children.  None ever arrested.  A father and two sons who served their country in time of war.  A wife and mother who kept the ship afloat through many hard times, often going without and providing many good, tasty and nutritious meals.  A sister who has been a solidly good rock for her own family learned by example.

Good and evil exist in this world.  Satan, denied by many as a phony Bible story, exists.  He is ever-present to put a noose around the neck of any who stray from righteousness.  And there are many sinners in this world from which he has already branded because of denial by those who do not repent given the chance.  That is the evil.  That is the hate spread through the world.  The difference with societies that murder, rape, kill with a passion in belief of a society who follows either no god or a corrupted god.

Jesus said, “I am the truth, the life, and no one comes to the Father in Heaven except by me.”  In the beginning, God in his Word to the human race, and perhaps in some way to animal life through human care and love, said he would tolerate no practice of worship of images of gods.  Like what occurs today, people revolted and demanded having images of gods as if to say, “How dare you tell us how to live and believe.”  Sounds just like today, doesn’t it?  It is the character of humanity from the beginning of human existence.  It is this existence that Satan dwells today, yesterday and in the future.

What I learn from my thoughts is to conclude that I don’t know the answers.  I do know and believe with faith that one true God exists from the time he made the Earth or back when the world universe began. It doesn’t matter to me.  I do know that the human race would have not survived without God, through His Word, having scribes record through inspiration that created a personal relationship that evolved with his decision to send his only Son into the world to save life itself, confirm his love for us all, even sinners, and path through personal belief and faith to save us from ourselves.

For me personally, this has been a hilly journey in life, with lots of ups and downs.  Forest Gump’s mom told her son, “Life is like a box of chocolates… and my own saying, “Life is like a bowl of cherries–full of pits.”
