Kindred’s Special: Calm the Family Tree with a Cat or Dog or One of Each

There is something heartwarming about owning a cat or dog.  Many families possess them in one way or another.  Sometimes I think the Lord decided to give cats and dogs to families as caregivers and to remind us that LOVE is all around us.  The shrubs, the flowers and trees that adorn properties give us lift in spirit and deep appreciation of nature’s beauty.  Even pathways, roads and streets beckon us to explore the unseen.  All of this attributes to our own caring sanity.

Cats and dogs give their love with abundant affection especially when they are included as a family member in the household. Their presence can be a solidifying force to remind us that their LOVE heals all wounds and reminds us continually to check our frustrations at the door. Much therapy comes from our pets.

Our modern medical costs and social stress has over the years led the medical research establishment to give unnecessary testing and false indicators to doctors who want to keep their patients well to avoid lawsuits and calls for malpractice litigations.  The wellbeing of our people should reduce costs and illness in like proportion.  Not so according to studies that bring into question the philosophical  hype of saying to patients, “Unfortunately, America has become a litigious society, and many of the overused diagnostic tests are performed to make sure the doctors aren’t missing something.”–Dr. Stephanie Haridopolos.  This same comment was made to me over the past dozen years by my own physicians and primary care staff members and always sounded like a tape recording.

Recent literature verifies what some doctors have long suspected regarding this concept of health preventive care. Let us look at just three such exams that appear commonplace in the art of medical overkill.

  1.  The PSA Test given as part of an annual physical for seniors to spot evidence of cancer in the prostate really doesn’t save lives, but in fact, defensive biopsies can cause pain, impotence, or incontinence.
  2. Mammograms commonly suggested for women around age 40 is now recommended by the ABIM to be unnecessary until age 50 and then only every two years.
  3. Pap Smears. In March 2012 the American Cancer Society concluded that annual cervical cancer checkups isn’t necessary.  They should begin at age 21 or three years after sexual  activity. If they are healthy, then every three years is sufficient.

The American people have become conditioned from birth to rely on pills  for every little symptom that comes along and it all started with mommy taking her kids to the doctor when a pharmacist could easily prescribe the proper over the counter medication to alleviate the bug that comes along. That should be the first line of defense.  If they spot a concern, then they could suggest seeing a doctor for treatment.

It has always been my feeling to be skeptical about visiting a doctor’s office without trying mom’s home remedies or visit to the pharmacy, using the primary care doctor as the last resort. That would save a bundle of medical expenses and savings on the insurance co-pays.

So here I give some of my advice on the basis of personal experience from dealing wisely with the medical needs of the family and the remedies provided by the cat and the dog!

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. WordPress Seo Plugin
