Kindred’s Special: Feel Better; Play Better with Chiropractic

You cannot be expected to play your best if you are not feeling well.  Wellness is the key to good health, long life and this adds to your capabilities to achieve success in most of your endeavors. Here of course, I speak of chess as this is a chess site that rambles on occasionally in poetry, humor, and just plain interesting side topics when it suits me.

A study put out by Blanks, Schuster and Dobson took such a look at the chiropractic application to 2818 patients attending 156 different chiropractic offices.  95 percent reported a strong connection between receiving chiropractic adjustments and experiencing a healthy, more active, improved quality of life with 99 percent deciding to continue a regular regimen of chiropractic adjustments. Isn’t it worth your while to consider chiropractic in your own life and that for your family? I can attest to the validity of adding such treatment to be a booster to good health and general wellness.

Chiropractic care has also been found to produce statistically significant improvement in general physiological functions of the body.  Take a look see at all the functions which help to this end:

  • Respiration
  • Range of motion
  • Heart rate
  • Autonomic function
  • Endocrine function
  • Cardiovascular function
  • Immune system
  • Muscle strength
  • Improve athletic movement
  • Neurocognitive functions
  • Reaction time functioning
  • Information retention
  • Visual acuity
  • Handle stress
  • Reproductive hormones
  • Healing both physical and mental stimuli
  • Recovering to wellness
  • Reduced labor time

Today, more and more workers in the health fields are coming to recognize the value of chiropractic treatment as a tool to aid in the practice of good medicine often offering a good alternative to satin drugs that plague the mindset of patients who experience negative results from their use.  Indeed, when I view these drug ads on TV and the sometimes dangerous side-effects possible, then the idea of physical therapy via chiropractic, massage, accupuncture and other alternative practices begins to make sense.
